The Protector is designed to give the intermediate or advanced shooter proper pistol mechanics and communication skills.  Starting with mindset, the class focuses on the ability to fight your way out of a violent confrontation while protecting an unarmed loved one.  We will focus on effectively balancing speed and accuracy with proper weapon manipulation, body mechanics, control of an unarmed loved one, and communication with others under dynamic stress.  

NOTE: Once you commit to a class, it is non-refundable, nor transferable, less than 32 days from the class date. 

PREREQUISITE TRAINING: Well Regulated Pistol or similar handgun course

• A Semi-auto Pistol 
• Bring a lunch to the range
• Students are responsible for providing their own ammunition and gear.  450 rounds of ammo is the AVERAGE amount fired. Use high quality ammo. https://ammoseek.com/
• Ammo Restrictions: No steel core, armor piercing, tracer, incendiary, or RELOADS allowed.
• Strong-side belt holster. The holster MUST BE STIFF not flimsy nylon or leather. If you are Law Enforcement then you can wear your duty rig if you choose.  No SERPA or similarly styled index finger safety holsters allowed. No exceptions!

• Minimum of six magazines
• Magazine pouch to hold extra magazines 
• Clothing suited for strenuous activity as well as being seasonally appropriate.  We shoot rain or shine. Please come prepared to work, learn, and have fun doing it.
• Baseball or Boonie style hat recommended
• Sunblock
• Knee Pads (Optional).  This will protect your knees and your pants.

• NOT REQUIRED but nice to have a folding chair and a small folding table.  It will be a better experience if you have it.
